Today is Vesak day, while many ppl are happily going class/family outing, a small group of dedicated drama people made it back to school for rehearsals for SYF which is next tues. And J1s had nothing to do, so we went to use the coms to pass time, lucky they were usable. This was from 1pm to like 5pm. Then got action le, all the cast were putting on make up, and a small group of ppl were dispatched to buy dinner. While I went with props on the lorry with one teacher, 2 seniors and 6 soccer boys to move stuff. Then after that J1s just watched the performance lo, ALL the way until 8+. Apparently, the directors were not too happy, so there was another session tmr for them, but lucky i no need go lol.

Today had sports carnival, so whole school trooped down to CCAB (Co-curricular Activities branch). At first the dumb plan was for the whole JC1 to stand on the field under the scorching sahara like sun to watch ppl run around the track. Seriously dumb. As soon as morning assembly was over ppl were migrating away, into shades of trees or to the stands which were meant for JC2s.
BUT, no i BRAVED the heat n and scorching sun to stand at the tracks for one purpose. Teachers race. To see the normally passive educators of CJC put in some effort of moving at a higher speed not present in school where u can only see them SASHY around. And it was all worth it! It confirmed teachers wont die if there was a fire in school, and boy they ran fast. Especially my home tutor who is a skinny kind soul which u wont expect to run fast, but LOOKS ARE DECEIVING, must rmb that, she was among the fastest, and her team won first!
Ok other than that the rest of the carnival was a waste of time, coz i din know orienteering in Botanical gardens reporting location, and our team was dis-qualified. Captains ball we lost coz a banch of ppl were using cheap basketball tactics. And had some card games. Went home to change before rushing for class gathering later.
Met the ppl that went straight from the CCAB to Food Republic at Wisma for lunch first and wait for more peeps. Then decided on Lido to catch MI3, which i felt was a bad choice of movie personally. TOO damn LOUD! The movie was overall ok, standard. But they were BLASTING sound out like mad, had headache after it ended, note i was not the only one. I left after that but i think some ppl went to play pool.
