FINALLY most of the projects presentations and what not are ALL over. Checklist of stuff left - 1 Jap Role-play, 1 CS Role-play and 3 final papers. 16 days to freedom!!
And the Chinese New Year swung round again. Normally i would be back in Malaysia now to visit my paternal grandma. Not anymore.
Can collect angbaos in S$ though which is quite heartening to not divide my money by 2.
Had 3 days of fun before self-imposed exile till 27th. Good bye world till then or sometime near it i guess.
Chu Yi
Meant for family and relatives! So went down to my maternal grandma's house bright and early. Juz lazed around watching TV till the rest of the relatives came. Then there was drama.
Due to my usual absence from Singapore. Virtually all of them cannot recognize who i am. So it happened a bunch of the aunties actually asked me who i was on arrival. I faked my cheena accent and said i was a China helper in the house. AND THEY BELIEVED ME! I even went to help my grandma to serve drinks and stuff to make it more convincing.
But, there suddenly from the kitchen i heard them discussing in chinese. 'Eh got china man here ah. Where ah. Just now he was walking around now go where alrdy?' even to the extent of asking my grandma. HAHA FREAKING FUNNY to heard first hand, even my grandma was confounded.
Cleared up my identity later or else no angbao :x but tis was fun haha. Stayed till late at night before leaving.
Chu Er
Was suppose to go Zheng Kai house for gathering at 10am. So planned to meet Tx and Xc at AMK hub at 930am. Unfortunately overslept waking at 945am. Without a doubt that meant i was late. Rushed over luckily in time to make it for the lion dance.
Mahjonged and utubed with the Cat high herd sans doug + howard. Decided to catch Sweeny Todd in the afternoon and it was GROSS cause anything with alot of blood = gross. Quite an interestin show to say the least. Musically dark and i have pie + barber phobia now. Thank goodness for the automatic shavers so we can DIY at home.
Then off to Xc house for mahjong session round 2 when Jx came to join us with Tx.
Had dinner then off to slp before another day of activities.

Today was my amazing-across-Singapore-painian-day im sure u'll agree with me after i refresh my memories of this extremely tiring day. Early morning went all the wat to the west to Chua Chu Kang - Binni's house. Sat around there eating talking joking with Doug, Serena and Nat. Finished Binni's box of topioca crisps :x nice wat!
After that towards the west we went next to Serena's home at Sembawang. Hunted for more tapioca crisps then onwards but to no avail. Met up with Petg at the MRT then a longgg walk all the way to her house. First time playing a Wii there haha.
First tried Guitar Hero which the ever creative me turned into GuZhen Hero, only seeing can u believe it! Then there was tennis and some REALLY dumb game that was REALLY random but funs la.
After playing a while we were off to Nat's house for Mahjong! And finally my chance to catch a glimpse of her family estate a.k.a a row of terraces linked. With a the family name proudly displayed as Gay's Villa. Yes her sirname is Gay haha.
Had a few rounds here before travelling over to dougs house at balestier where he had went home directly after visiting Serena's house. I was trying in vain to figure out a way to travel to Jan's house after doug's while they were playing cards on the floor.
But was suppose to go for dinner at Jan's so i bade them farewell and left early. Plainly i got lost and irritated to the extreme, BUT i managed to get to her house JUST before the rest leave! 1 point to me!
IT WAS IN BEDOK. Haha finally got the chance to play with Yuki! The cutest puppy i played wif before! SUPER HYPERACTIVE! Kept moving around and i nearly lost a hand trying to make it stop moving so the rest could play snap! on the floor.
And after an exhausting session finally left with Jan, Van and Amily as the last leavers while the rest had left an hour before. Lucky got bus accompany Amily back near home or else super sian.
Thats the trouble with friends living so far from you i guess! Yea well went home and died on the bed from exhaustion. So concludes the across Singapore CNY adventure and stole this from Binni who photoshopped it! Quite nice cept a dumb pic at center sia.
